EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO LIVE
On April 8 the people elected Jackie Speier to Congress. There were three major issues the war, the economy and immigration. There is an even bigger issue — the right to life―. As a roman-catholic, I believe in the sanctity of life, and I understand what it means to be pro-life. I am opposed to the slaughtering of human life (abortion). As a true pro-life advocate, one must believe that life is not possible without conception therefore; life takes place from conception to death. During the especial election out of five candidates, I was the only pro-life advocate. In retrospect, I was a political coward because I did not take the initiative to bring it up although I feel strongly about it. The media did not bring it up, nor did the people and obviously, the pro-murder candidates did not bring it up. Speaking for myself, I was a political coward.
I will no longer be silent on this subject because of my spiritual leader, his sanctity The Holy father Pope Benedict the XVI. During his visit, he reminded me that I am a roman- catholic, that there is not such thing as liberal Catholics. He reminded me that true Catholics are about life and justice for all including the purest essence of life ― the child in the mother’s womb. I am aware of the fact that abortion in this country is legal, and my country in essence approves murder. We have a responsibility to try and change this law, and if elected I will fight hard to overturn Roe vs Wade. Would you help me fight the left-wing liberals? God gave us a chance at life? who are we to deny others of the same right.
The blatant hypocrisy of Jackie Speier on the issue of abortion is astounding, she claims to be a catholic who attended Mercy High School and a member of the Saint Bartholomew's Parish where she receives communion. My question is how can she possibly do all these things and be an advocate for abortion (murder)? The priest that gives her communion whoever he is, should immediately be excommunicated.
When I saw the picture on the newspapers of your leader Nancy Pelosi, kissing the ring of the Holy Father I almost lost my mind, then she had the audacity to say that she would take communion at a special mass? Who is she kidding? Where is the silent majority of Catholics of this district? Why are they not speaking out against abortion? Are they aware of what is going on? Why do you keep voting for these liberal hypocrites? Since when do we take God’s job on our hands? Since when do we decide who lives or dies?

SUPPLY AND DEMAND FOR CHEAP LABOR RULES THE LAND
Whether we like it or not the demand for cheap labor is a mayor issue, and frankly small businesses and our country's economy would not survive without it. The rising cost of health insurance, gasoline high prices, food shortage, an out of control spending Democratic Congress, not to mention a collapsing house market. What are we to do? We Republican present solutions like immigration reform, guest worker programs, etc. The Democratic party on the other hand, misleads minorities into voting for them by promising them the moon and the stars, but Republicans deliver the goods. Ronald Reagan once said referring to the largest minority in California "Hispanics are Republicans, they just don't know it yet"
If elected, I propose to immediately close the borders, a five year moratorium on visas, and expedite legalization of those who are already here. Furthermore; we continue to do what our current administration has been doing, deporting criminals. I believe that we have plenty of young intellects to choose from here in the United States if given the proper training. The money that big companies spend bringing foreign workers will be better spent here in our home. Let's face it folks, everyone that comes to the United States legally or illegally, will likely send their money to their families back in their homeland, so let's impose a tax in all remittances send abroad.
EDUCATION
Our educational system is a disgrace in badly need of repair, our children are failing tremendously not only here at home, but internationally as well. Here is my proposal and I do not stand alone in this; We begin by eliminating the department of education, and let the states take care of the education of our children. That money will be better spend teaching our children vocational and practical skills. One example, bring back shop lab to junior colleges, these are things that people can actually learn and use in the labor market. I would love to hear your opinions in this issue.

Moloney an underdog and fighter in the political ring
By Keith Kreitman
Back in 1975, when I was wandering the streets of London, I chanced upon Hyde Park, where spewed forth daily the ubiquitous and irreverent “nuts” of England. I remarked to a local standing next to me, “It is so interesting that the British tolerate all this anti-government talk, here, right in the heart of the city.” “Sir,” said he, “we believe in free speech here and have found the ‘nut’ of today may well be the prophet of the tomorrow. Many a ‘weird’ idea first preached here is now part of our national government system.” I thought of that when I interviewed Mike Moloney, 65, Tom Lantos’ Republican opponent for the Congressional District 12 seat, who reigns as our local “political nut.” Moloney describes himself as, “A shanty Irish ‘mick’ from Brooklyn, with white trash tendencies, who is being domesticated along the way.” But don’t buy that. Part of the domestication process has been to graduate from James Madison High in Brooklyn, where the terms of the U.S. Constitution were drummed into his head. This is one of the most prestigious high schools in New York City, one that turned out such luminaries as U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. And he followed up with St. John’s, a superb university in Queens, New York. So, this is all an Irish put on. This guy’s no “nut.” He is an incisive analyst of contemporary national and international political events, cutting right down to the bone of issues, and a fierce defender of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, a copy of which he carries along with him like any bible-thumping preacher on the circuit. I guess it takes someone like me, a lower-middle-class city dweller from the tough ethnic streets of Chicago, to grasp and understand his gruff manners and pierce the public facade he places to conceal his keen street-wise and educated intelligence. He is a brawler, no doubt about that, but in the code of the streets, he respects only the “fair fight.” And he feels that code has been savagely violated in the years since the last declaration of war in 1941. Both parties, in his view, have been ignoring the constitutional mandates and did anything they needed to do to go around it from the phony “Gulf of Tonkin” resolution excuse for the Vietnam involvement to the undeclared war-invasion of Iraq. And, who can argue with him on that? He argues Tom Lantos has repeatedly been a complicit facilitator in much of this tragic history. Moloney may label himself a Republican, but he is no defender of the current national administration. If elected, his first act would be a motion to impeach both President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for multiple violations of the provisions of that cherished political bible, the Constitution. Then, move to have Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld fired, and cite others involved in the Iraq invasion, such as Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz and Douglas Feith for treason. Pretty extreme sounding, but if adjudicated in an impartial court of law, from recent revelations, he might have a very strong case. But, he is not a “Johnny one note.” If elected, he chooses to work for traditional Republican values, such as reducing the deficit and the horrendous national debt and reducing the size of national government. But, as an independent, he wants to fight to give up the hopeless war on drugs, already costing us $25 billion, with no visible effects, and insists we must reduce corporate welfare as we have scaled back the welfare of those at the poorer end of our economic scale. So, if he is a purveyor of such truths, why is he being called a “nut” and not given more respect and votes from this district? I would gather it would be because of his take no prisoners attitude, no compromise with the truth, as he sees it, and with a Brooklynite’s bald-faced disdain for polished and pussy-footed debate. But let’s give the guy credit. He has real guts. He gets virtually no media coverage and having taken no contributions, his major campaigning has been reduced to “call in” talk shows and parading back and forth with signs in front of Lantos’ District Office. The latter is fraught with the risk of physical attacks. In fact, one toe-to-toe confrontation with a marine, I gather, ended when the marine contemplated Moloney’s still formidable athletic build. But, reports Moloney, the middle fingers of the early days are being gradually replaced by thumbs ups and V for victory signals, so maybe he is winning in that sector of the political wars. Will he give up? Not on your life. Not as long as he is still standing in the ring, true, battered and bruised, but just waiting for that moment when the opponent underestimates him and lets his guard down, so Moloney may administer the knockout punch. With this guy’s drive, don’t bet against that. Yah! Well, OK! Maybe, he is a nut. But, like the British, we need nuts like Moloney around to remind us of what the Founding Fathers really intended and what the “power” politicians of today have been clearly subverting.
Extra! Extra!
San Mateo 03-28-08. A Public Debate was held at the South San Francisco City Council Chambers on Tuesday March 25, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The debate was amongst the five candidates of the CD 12. Mike Moloney was clearly the winner, but of course the local media had to protect their interests, and chose Jackie Speier as the winner. They did say that "Moloney threatened to steal the show with his humorous rants". Overall, the debate was positive for all 5 candidates in a packed city council chambers. Moloney will continue his fight against the Liberal Democrat establishment, whose interests do not reflect the interests of the people of the 12th Congressional District. We the people decide what the future of the CD 12 will be. Your support for Mike Moloney, will make a world of difference in this election.
